PROS AND CONS OF STUDY ABROAD
There are many benefits of going to college or university
with the option of studying abroad. This is what you call once in your
lifetime, should take full advantage of it if you have the chance. There are,
however, a lot of things to be considered first. For example, where would you
like to go, and why? What program does your school offer? What classes will you
take and how do they train foreigners? Before you get excited and book air
tickets for a new world, measure your options. In addition, let us help you in
the decision making process. Here are our good and bad for studying abroad.
PROS:
1.
Make new friends: No matter where you finish abroad, ask to
make new friends at this time. This may mean that one of your schoolmates or
someone else at your school or in another could mean the origin of the city or
country you are visiting. Remember that your best friends have started as
strangers. Do your best to avoid isolating yourself from different cultures and
backgrounds. You can learn a lot from them and vice versa does this for great
stories and memories, it is the whole life, therefore, if you see someone you
do not know, do not be afraid. Rather, start a conversation a simple thing can
be really amazing. Take a chance, you never know.
2.
More options: For some studying
abroad can offer flexibility in their programs. Especially in the case of
international students. For example, if an international student is studying
economics, business of finance, then there may be more options for them in the
United States, where they are in the matter of class selection, internship and
job opportunities. Having the option is always a good thing, it can open your
eyes to new ideas that you did not accept. The possibilities are endless.
3.
Learn a new language: This can be
quite obvious, but one of the best parts of study abroad is learning new
languages. There are many options to choose from. By doing so, you will be able
to communicate with people in your new home, connect with them and hopefully
get more. After all, this is your home for your limited time. Furthermore,
speaking another language is not something that is another useful skill.
Employers and internship coordinator take an interest in them when they
consider the applicants. Furthermore, when people ask you ‘What do you do?’ Or
name your fun/ interesting fact about this.
CONS:
1.
Homesickness: Homesickness is the opposite of making new
friends. It does not matter where you go, you are probably all there and it is
quite common, especially at the beginning, for example, birthdays with your
friends and family, holidays or special events, such as special occasions for
social media. With gracefully, you can connect with your loved ones at any time
of the day at any time. Skype, Face book, Twitter, Instagram etc. and with
these your motorists hope you will not miss too much. Apart from this, we are
almost positive that not everybody misses you as much as you remember them.
However, they may want you to enjoy yourself as much as you can, do not be as
sorry as you remember them. They want you to get great stories, pictures, and
literature to share at home.
2.
Cost: One of the main concerns that
we hear about studies abroad is how much it costs, especially if you plan to
study internationally. Luxury, accommodation, food, living expenses, tuition
and fees can all be added quickly, but if overseas education is something you
really want to do, then do not let it stop. The solution is very simple, do
your research, contact your organization and check any financial assistance for
your specific program. Ask about scholarships, grants and other forms of other
ways to cut costs when needed. Some people think that when it comes to studying
abroad, there is big deal but it is not always there.
3.
Losing time: For many people,
studying abroad can be a great experience, however, when you return, a session or even a year may affect your
degree program for a year, for example, some foreign studies students need to
do an extra if this happens then you also have to pay attention to how it changes
your college plan. Whatever has been said, carefully study the study abroad.
Talk to your professors, academic advisers and people in foreign studies where
you are. This includes directors, coordinators and previous or current
participants. These are the people who will be able to paint the most realistic
picture for you as you expect. Exit all your choices the worst thing is that
you can study abroad and find out that you need to fill in later.
OVERALL: If you can, we hope that you study abroad.
There are many beautiful places in the world. If you want to see them all, then
we do not blame you. At the same time, if you are seriously considering this,
take your time, there is no rush, use this list as the starting point along
with other tools.
